IMG_0006It’s Independence Day weekend in the High Country and there are all kinds of great events happening. Saturday, July 1st, start your day participating in The Next Page Books and Nosh, month long Where’s Waldo Scavenger Hunt. The Next Page also has wonderful breakfast panini’s and delicious coffee and tea. That afternoon, from 3:00 – 6:00pm, go on back for a book signing event for the recently published, Winelands of Colorado, By Christina Holbrook and Marc Hoberman. Learn about Colorado’s wine country – did you know we had one?

Saturday evening you can even take in an early firework’s show at Copper Mountain. They’ll be starting at 9:30pm over West Lake, so get your celebrating started early!

On Sunday is Frisco’s Founders day! There will be all kinds of IMG_0011festivities at the Frisco Historic Park from 10:00 – 4:00pm. You can do a little gold panning, listen to music and even take a burro ride. At 1:00pm Cooper is offering free concerts from Savoy Brown and Foghat. Get your groove on!

IMG_0005Tuesday is the BIG EVENT and you can get a full schedule of what’s happening in Frisco here. Highlights include, the Team Summit Pancake Breakfast, Kids Fishing Derby, a flyover by a United States Air Force Lockheed C-130 Hercules, music, a parade, more music and FIREWORKS over the lake.
